On the afternoon of June 8th, 2021, organized by the Institute of International Studies at Fudan University, the 15th Doctoral Academic Workshop ("Yucheng Study Group") themed with "Approaching Procedures of Ph.D. Dissertation Writing" was convened at Auditorium 212, Center for American Studies, Fudan University, which solicited Ph.D. Candidate ZHANG Xueying and Ph.D. Candidate WU Bingke at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Fudan University as the keynote presenters. Associate Professor JIAN Junbo and Associate Professor WANG Hao at the Institute of International Studies, Fudan University drew upon vibrant commentaries and evoked participatory reflections. Over thirty postgraduates and doctoral students at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Fudan University presented attendance at the academic event. Into the follow-up presentations, Ph.D. Candidate ZHANG Xueying related the conceptualized sketch of the thesis entitled "Self-Denial of Hegemony or the Way of Maintenance? --The Logic of U.S. Postwar Action to Withdraw from the International System (1945-2020)", elaborating opon the proposal of correlated issues, delineating the core concept and significance of research respectively, conducting in-depth elucidations concerning research-based tracks, perspectives of findings, material-gathering and time management in terms of expertise and perplexities encountered in authoring distinctive theses.
