The Center for Shanghai Cooperation Organization Studies (CSCOS) was established in June 2005, and is one of the earliest SCO study centers established in China’s universities. After the establishment of the CSCOS, it forms a complementation with the Center for Russian and Central Asian Studies Center on the country and regional studies.

The CSCOS has 3 professors/researchers and 1 associate professor/researcher, focusing on the economic, security cooperation and people-to-people exchange of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and conducting research and academic exchanges.
