On the afternoon of October 25, 2019, the Ninth Doctoral Academic Workshop (“Yucheng Study Group”) organized by the Institute of International Studies themed with “Delving into the U.S. Strategic Security Behavioral Patterns” was convened in Auditorium 212, Center for American Studies, Fudan University, which solicited Ph.D. Candidate WANG Lei and Ph.D. Candidate WU Xuhuai as the keynote presenters. Professor WU Xinbo, Director of the Center for American Studies and Dean of the Institute of International Studies at Fudan University addressed the inaugural plenary thematic remarks, Professor LIN Minwang, Research Associate WANG Guangtao, Assistant Research Fellows WANG Hao and XUE Song et al. attended the workshop and proposed comments reflected correspondingly. Over twenty doctoral students at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Fudan University presented attendance at the event. Into the follow-up segments, Ph.D. Candidate WANG Lei related the origin of writing the thesis “Formulating International Rules and Regulations for Nuclear Export Control: Behavioral Patterns of the U.S. in Multilateral Negotiations” in the respect of academic researches and introduced the innovative and breakthrough aspects accordingly, putting forward insightful perceptions into the inadequacies and future research direction as a whole. In the ensuing session, Ph.D. Candidate WU Xuhuai elaborated on the dissertation entitled “A Study on U.S. Intervention in Indo-Pak Conflict from the Perspective of Third-Party’s International Crisis Management” in detailed reflections with regard to research purposes, analytical framework, case analysis, research findings and correlated aspects, expounding in the concept of Third-Party’s International Crisis Management.
