On March 1st, 2024, the Center for China’s Relations with Neighboring Countries at Fudan University (CCRNC Fudan) warmly received a delegation from the Zhejiang Development and Reform Institute (ZDRI). This gathering marked a significant step forward in discussing the Advancing the Integrated Development of the Yangtze River Delta and the Deep Integration with the 'Belt and Road' Initiative, a topic of considerable importance for regional and international development. The seminar was co-chaired by Professor ZHAO Weihua, Director of CCRNC Fudan, and QIAN Chen, Director of ZDRI, underscoring the collaborative spirit of this endeavor. The event saw the participation of 16 distinguished experts and scholars from both institutes, reflecting a broad spectrum of expertise and insight. The discussions delved into several crucial areas, including the international expansion of companies from the Yangtze River Delta, the integration of port resources, strategies for the relocation and return of manufacturing lines, management of overseas risks, and the promotion of people-to-people exchanges and cooperation. These discussions were not only comprehensive but also aimed at identifying actionable strategies to foster regional development and integration with global initiatives. This seminar is a testament to CCRNC Fudan's dedication to contributing to national and regional development strategies.
