On the afternoon of April 22, 2024, SUN Hong, Secretary-General of the Chinese Korean History Association and Associate Research Fellow at the Institute of World History at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, visited Fudan University for a research consultation. The delegation was received by Director & Professor ZHENG Jiyong and Dr. ZHU Qin from the Center for Korean Studies at Fudan University (CKS Fudan), Director & Associate Professor GUO Yicheng, Vice Director & Associate Professor WU Xianhua and Professor BI Yude from the Department of Korean Language and Literature at Fudan University, Professor HE Xiyou from the School of Economics at Fudan University, and Associate Professor WANG Xinlei from the Institute of Chinese Historical Geography Studies at Fudan University. The discussion focused on the special funding project from the Chinese Social Science Foundation Society, “Survey on the Current Disciplinary Situation of the Chinese Korean History,” and highlighted the urgent need to address the existing crises and challenges within the field of Korean history studies in China.
