On December 31st, the Theory-Discussing Meeting on Year-End 2019 Situation was convened by Foreign Policy Advisory Group, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China. Professor Wu Xinbo, Director of the Center for American Studies and Dean of the Institute of International Studies at Fudan University attended the meeting and served as the appointed member of the 4th Foreign Policy Advisory Board, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China. Le Yucheng, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, presided over the meeting. Wang Yi, State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Qi Yu, Party Secretary of the CPC Committee and Head of the Party School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and members of the 4th Foreign Policy Advisory Board, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China presented attendance at the meeting. State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi delivered the notable address integrating the appointed members’ productive deliberations evolving around the current international context and China’s diplomatic endeavors in the next phase. The Foreign Policy Advisory Board of the Chinese Foreign Ministry was founded on October 14th, 2008, with the main functions of proposing consultancy advice on international situation and China's foreign policy as well as launching appropriate diplomatic activities, comprises twenty-two ambassador members and four expert members at present.
