On the afternoon of May 25th, Academic Seminar Series Heralding the 115th Anniversary of Fudan University in 2020 was convened at the Center for American Studies. The keynote of the 2020 Academic Seminar Series focalized the spotlight upon "The Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Sino-U.S. Relationship and the US". In the course of the seminar, Professor WU Xinbo, Director of the Center for American Studies and Dean of the Institute of International Studies at Fudan University, Professor SONG Guoyou, Deputy Director of the Center for American Studies at Fudan University, Professor WEI Zongyou, Associate Professor TU Yichao and Associate Professor WANG Hao illustrated, dwelled on and conducted insightful analyses with regard to the effect of the latest development of Novel Coronavirus(COVID-19) outbreak on Sino-U.S. relationship, U.S. economy, American society, religion in the U.S., prospects of U.S. presidential election and so forth. The audience engaged in the following participatory Q&A session and interacted actively with the research fellows, presenting exploratory in-depth discussions on the related issues correspondingly. Professor XIN Qiang, Deputy Director of the Center for American Studies at Fudan University assumed the designated role of facilitator at the event.
