On November 19, 2024, Scott Walker, U.S. Consul General in Shanghai, and his delegation visited the Center for American Studies at Fudan University (CAS Fudan). They engaged in a dialogue with faculty and students on U.S.-China relations. Professor Wu Xinbo, Director of the CAS Fudan, extended a warm welcome and moderated the discussion. The two sides held in-depth and candid discussions on topics including U.S. policy towards China after the U.S. elections, the future direction of U.S.-China relations, and the challenges and opportunities facing cultural and educational exchanges between the two countries.
