Zubair Mahmood Hayat
General Zubair Mahmood Hayat served as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) of the Pakistan Armed Forces from 2016 to 2019.
He also served as the Director General of the Strategic Plans Division (SPD), which oversees Pakistan's nuclear weapons program.
General Hayat has had a 43 years of distinguished military career, with experience in various command and staff positions.
General Hayat played a key role in shaping Pakistan's military and security policies, particularly in the areas of counter-terrorism and nuclear deterrence.
He has also been a strong advocate for regional peace and stability, and has played a key role in promoting Pakistan's relations with other countries, including China, United States, and Russia.
