On the afternoon of October 23, 2018, the delegation led by Mr. Frank. N. Newman, Member of the Board of Promontory Interfinancial Network and former United States Deputy Secretary of the Treasury visited the Center for American Studies at Fudan University. Mr. Newman delivered a fabulous speech themed with China’s Growing, Maturing Economy in a Global Context. Afterwards, he exchanged in-depth views with the experts and scholars present on Sino-U.S. economic and trade issues and bilateral ties between China and the United States.
Professor WU Xinbo, Dean of the Institute of International Studies and Director of the Center for American Studies at Fudan University moderated the event. Professor SONG Guoyou, Professor ZHANG Jiadong, Professor CAI Cuihong and Associate Professor PAN Yaling attended the seminar convened at CAS, Fudan University.
