On May 25-27, 2018, invited by Professor WU Xinbo, Dean of the Institute of International Studies and Director of the Center for American Studies at Fudan University, Professor Graham Tillett Allison, Jr., eminent scholar of international relations and Founding Dean of Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government visited Shanghai, attended The Shanghai Forum 2018 Conference with the theme of"Global Governance and Asia:Asia's Responsibilities in a World of Change" and delivered a keynote speech at the annual symposium.
Professor Allison paid a visit to the Institute of International Studies at Fudan University on the morning of May 27, conducting in-depth academic dialogues and discussions with Prof. WU Xinbo, Prof. ZHANG Weiwei, Prof. WEI Zongyou and Associate Prof. SHEN Yi subsequently on how to escape "The Thucydides Trap" between China and the United States.
