主讲人：Dr. Arie Kusuma Paksi
Dr. Arie Kusuma Paksi serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Relations at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom. His scholarly interests encompass Political Economy, International Trade, Foreign Investment, Development Intervention, and Southeast Asian geopolitics. During his term of October-November 2023 as a Visiting Scholar of the Institute of International Studies at Fudan University (IIS Fudan), Dr. Arie is meticulously working to finalize an article on the implications of China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in Indonesia. This inquiry aims to augment the existing body of knowledge regarding the influence of international development projects on domestic economies and infrastructure, and aspires to yield novel insights into the realms of Political Economy and Development Intervention, particularly as they relate to the Belt and Road Initiative's impact on Indonesian economic and infrastructural landscapes.
