主讲人：Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, Professor, Department of Development Studies, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is currently holding the charge of the Chairman of the Department. Prof. Titumir holds Ph.D. in Economics from the University of London, M.Sc in Development and Financial Economics from the University of London, Certificate in Trade Policy and Commercial Diplomacy from the Universities of Carleton and Ottawa, BSS (Hons.) from the University of Dhaka, and HSC and SSC from Jhenidah Cadet College.

内容简介：The lecture illustrates a suggested paradigm in the evolving global order – a new form of cooperation which relates capital and technology with labour - by taking China’s engagement with a single Southern country, Bangladesh. Any exercise about Chinese geo-strategic, geo-economics and development approach towards another Southern country must have to take cognizance into the whole trajectory, involving other parties concerned. In the case of Bangladesh, it includes, but not limited to, countries such as USA, India and associated initiatives (e.g., Indo-Pacific strategy, QUAD, AUKUS, SAGAR, BIMSTEC, BBIN etc.).
