The Center for American Studies, Fudan University and Harvard Undergraduate Foreign Policy Initiative successfully held the Closing Conference of 1st Fudan-Harvard China-U.S. Young Leaders Dialogue on February 25th-26th, 2023. With the one-year-long dedication of 32 Fudan students and 28 Harvard students, this conference drew a perfect conclusion to the bilateral dialogue and discussion. The dialogue comprised 24 online panel discussions over 5 topics, including cyber and space governance, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, digital economy, and global digital finance. Furthermore, the dialogue promoted a one-on-one discussion mechanism that ensured the depth and breadth of the young leaders of China and America.
Professor Wu Xinbo, Dean of the Institute of International Studies, Fudan University and Director of the Center for American Studies, Ms. Xu Xueyuan, charge d'affaires of the Embassy of the P.R.C. in the USA, and James Heller, Consul General of the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai delivered keynote lectures at the conference. The event attracted over 200 online audiences from Fudan University, Peking University, Harvard University and other universities in China and the U.S.
