In December 2023, the research report China-Russia Dialogue: The 2023 Model, submitted by Fudan University's Institute of International Studies (IIS Fudan), was honored with the CTTI (China Think Tank Index) 2023 Annual Outstanding Think Tank Research Award following evaluations by an expert panel. The report features Chinese authors Feng Yujun, Gao Jixiang, Liu Huaqin, Liu Qian, Ma Bin, Xu Changzhi, Zhao Long, Sheng Shiliang, and 12 Russian experts.
Since 2015, IIS Fudan has collaborated annually with the Russian International Affairs Council to release the China-Russia Dialogue research report series. To date, nine reports have been published. These reports offer detailed and in-depth analyses of China-Russia interactions across various domains, including politics, economy, security, humanities, and international relations. The reports have gained increasing influence in academic circles in both China and Russia, receiving acknowledgment from high-level officials in both countries. Over 40 scholars from China and Russia have contributed to the reports' creation, with advocates Zhao Huasheng and A. V. Koltunov making remarkable contributions to their ongoing publication.
